“YOUR NEEDS GODS DESIRE”

TEXT: STAND FOR THE READING OF GODS WORD

Rom 13:1

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Rom 13:2

Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

pray

Gal 2:20

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

(Living right before God)

Lev 26:1

Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

Lev 26:2

Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

Lev 26:3

If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

Lev 26:4

Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

stop

Lev 26:5

And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

Lev 26:6

And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

Lev 26:7

And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

Lev 26:8

And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

Lev 26:9

For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.

Lev 26:10

And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.

Lev 26:11

And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.

Lev 26:12

And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

(Inheriting all things)

Rev 21:6

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Rev 21:7

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

(What you Sow you will Reap)

Gal 6:3

For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

stop

Gal 6:4

But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

Gal 6:5

For every man shall bear his own burden.

Gal 6:6

Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

Gal 6:7

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Gal 6:8

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Gal 6:9

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Never Again

Never again will I say, “I can’t,” for “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength” (Phil. 4:13).

Never again will I admit lack, for “My God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:19).

Never again will I fear, for “God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of self-discipline” (2 Tim. 1:7).

Never again will I harbor doubt and lack of faith, for “The Lord is my light and my salvation–whom shall I fear” (Ps. 27:1).

Never again will I allow the supremacy of Satan over my life, for “the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

Never again will I admit defeat, for “God always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him” (2 Cor. 2:14).

Never again will I lack wisdom, for “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5).

Never again will I be worried and frustrated, “Casting all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you” (1 Pet. 5:7).

Never again will I be in bondage, for “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Cor. 3:17).

(Spirit or Flesh)

Rom 8:5

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Rom 8:6

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Rom 8:7

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Rom 8:8

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Rom 8:9

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Rom 8:10

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Rom 8:11

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Morbus Sabbaticus

Morbus Sabbaticus, or Sunday sickness, is a disease peculiar to church members.

1.  The symptoms vary, but it never interferes with the appetite.

2.  It never lasts more than twenty-four hours.

3.  No physician is ever called.

4.  It always proves fatal in the end–to the soul!

5.  It is becoming fearfully prevalent, and is destroying thousands every year.

The attack comes on suddenly every Sunday; no symptoms are felt on Saturday night; the patient sleeps well and wakes feeling well; he eats a hearty breakfast; but about church time the attack comes on and continues until services are over for the morning. Then the patient feels easy and eats a hearty dinner. In the afternoon he feels much better and is able to take a walk and read the Sunday papers; he eats a hearty supper, but about church time he has another attack and stays at home. He wakes up Monday morning refreshed and able to go to work, and does not have any symptoms of the disease until the following Sunday.

The remedy–”Be not deceived; God is not mocked” (Gal. 6:7).

CONCLUSION
